Happy Mother’s Day! Wait, why are we celebrating this again? Whose idea was this? Aren’t we supposed to love our mothers year-round? I love Mad Men for so many reasons. First, I was born soon after the current season so I get incredibly nostalgic about the Brylcreem’d hair, the mid-century furniture, and the campy music. Second, the writing is phenomenal and the acting is near flawless. What I find most amusing, though, is how all the characters nonchalantly behave so inappropriately by today’s standards.
